Aims & Scope
Indonesian Journal of Social Sciences (IJSS) is published by Universitas Airlangga, and designed to be a refereed journal. It is one of the official journals of the East Java Anthropological Association. It is published biannually, with the main objective to provide an outlet for the publication of academic writing based on research, original thought, and commentaries from various social-cultural perspectives. We expect that the publication of the Indonesian Journal of Social Sciences will provoke more original thoughts that can be accessed by a wider audience so that it would benefit not only academicians but also laymen, practitioners, and other readers who have concerns about social-cultural issues. This journal welcomes original- and review articles not previously published in any other journals.
