Aims & Scope

Estudios sobre el Mensaje Periodístico (EMP) is a scientific and university journal with quarterly periodicity. It includes the following sections: Studies. These are included only in monographic issues that propose a topic of general interest suitable for the journal's scientific scope, chosen by the Editorial Board. Research and documents. It accepts articles of free thematic choice as long as they fit the scientific and dissemination objectives of this publication. Fixed section. EMP Essays. These will be texts requested by the Editorial Board from prestigious authors. The objective of the 'EMP Essays' (non-fixed section) will be to foster dialogue and reflection on certain issues of special relevance to journalism or communication. EMP Dialogues. Interviews with theorists, teachers, or professionals in journalism and communication. These are included only in some issues. Reviews. Non-fixed section dedicated to presenting or evaluating recently published works of special scientific value for the area.
