Aims & Scope

Anbar Journal of Agricultural Sciences (AJAS) is an international, open-access scientific journal published by the College of Agriculture – University of Anbar, Iraq, since 2019, under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license. The journal currently publishes two issues per year; however, beginning in 2026, it will adopt a quarterly publication schedule (March, June, September, and December) in order to accelerate the dissemination of research findings and expand publishing opportunities for scholars. AJAS employs Turnitin software to detect plagiarism and ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts. In addition, the journal follows a double-blind peer-review process to guarantee rigorous evaluation and adherence to high academic standards.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
