Aims & Scope
Nordidactica - Journal of Humanities and Social Science Education is a Nordic subject didactic peer-review journal that aims to be an arena for research relevant to higher education, teacher education, and school. Subject didactic studies of teaching and learning in geography, history, social studies, political science, and religious education are particularly in focus, but the journal is also open to articles where broad themes including issues related to these subjects are addressed. Nordidactica aims to combine high scientific quality with a high degree of relevance in subject didactic issues. The basis is peer-reviewed research articles. The journal also publishes a section with texts in the form of reviews, conference information, project descriptions, or other current information from the field.
