Aims & Scope

STOA es la revista del Instituto de Filosofía de la Universidad Veracruzana que pretende servir de foro de diálogo y discusión entre especialistas y académicos provenientes de la filosofía o de otros ámbitos del saber que acerquen sus inquietudes a la reflexión sobre la ética, la filosofía política, la filosofía de la cultura, la filosofía de la historia, la filosofía de la ciencia, la filosofía del derecho, la filosofía de la religión, la filosofía analítica, la historia de las ideas, la antropología filosófica, la sociología, la economía y todo aquello que se relacione con la acción del ser humano como ser pensante. Asimismo, STOA es una revista comprometida con el español, por lo que hace una decidida apuesta por el mismo como lengua de diálogo filosófico, junto al portugués y el inglés. STOA se publica semestralmente en febrero y agosto, aceptando contribuciones provenientes de todo el mundo pero con especial referencia a Iberoamérica. Sus intereses abarcan cuestiones de filosofía en general con amplitud de contenidos y perspectivas pero con rigurosidad en su tratamiento.
