Aims & Scope
Regenerative Medicine Research is an open access, online journal that publishes research relating to both the fundamental and practical aspects of regenerative medicine, with a particular emphasis on translational research. Regenerative medicine is the process of creating living, functional tissues to repair or replace tissue or organ function lost due to age, disease, damage, or congenital defects. The journal therefore aims to publish articles that shed light on the signaling pathways involved in cell/tissue regeneration and aims to address how biomaterials and stem cells can be adapted or integrated into the existing organ system. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to: Biomaterials (including stem cells, engineered tissues, nanotech inventions etc) Molecular and cellular biology of regenerative medicine Pharmacology and pharmaceutics for regenerative medicine Fundamental research and medical implementation of regenerative medicine; Animal models of regenerative medicine Genomic understanding and prediction for the outcome of regenerative medicine Rejuvenation of early stage repair mechanisms Tissue repair mechanisms and intervention Organ and tissue specific regeneration including: brain and nervous system, cardiovascular system, renal system, gastrointestinal system, skeletal muscle, bone and structural regeneration bone marrow rejuvenation and regeneration. 3D bio-printing in regenerative medicine Tissue engineering in regenerative medicine Cell-based therapy in regenerative medicine Technical innovation in regenerative medicine
