The Asian Journal of Law and Society is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research on law and society in Asia. It aims to foster interdisciplinary and comparative scholarship on the role of law in Asian societies, and on the ways in which Asian legal systems are shaped by social, economic, political, and cultural forces. The journal welcomes submissions from scholars in law, sociology, anthropology, political science, history, and other relevant disciplines. It is particularly interested in research that engages with contemporary debates and challenges in Asia, and that offers new perspectives on the relationship between law and society.
