Aims & Scope
The publication "Engineering" publishes articles containing the results of scientific research in the following specialities: G6 Information and Measurement Technologies, G8 Materials Science, G9 Applied Mechanics, G11 Mechanical Engineering (by specialization). Main headings: "Information and measurement technologies," "Materials science," "Applied mechanics," "Mechanical engineering (by specialization)." The purpose of the publication is to present the results of contemporary theoretical and applied research in the fields of technical automation, robotics, quality and standardization, metrology and information-measuring technology, manufacturing engineering, and machine dynamics, aimed at the design and operation of equipment, as well as the improvement of technological processes in the engineering industry. The main objectives of the collection of scientific papers “Engineering” are: to publish the results of contemporary theoretical and applied research in the fields of manufacturing engineering and the power industry; to promote interdisciplinary research on quality and automation; to highlight current problems in metrology and information and measurement technology, as well as new methods and measuring instruments for quality control of machined surfaces; dissemination of modern research methods in automation, computer-integrated technologies, and robotics; exchange of research results on the machining of modern materials using high-performance technologies and highly efficient cutting tools; promoting scientific research related to strength, stability, operability, and dynamics of lifting and transport machines and metal-cutting machine tools, as well as problems in mechanical engineering technology; facilitating scientific communication among researchers, faculty, graduate students, and industry professionals in the fields of quality, automation, and manufacturing engineering.
