Aims & Scope

Studia Humanistyczne AGH. Społeczeństwo. Kultura. Technologia (formerly: Studia Humanistyczne AGH) aims to popularize an interdisciplinary perspective on the complex relationships between modern technologies and society and culture. Since 2023, the journal has been published as a semi-annual and focuses on topics covering issues: mutual connections and influence between science and technology and society and culture; the impact of innovation on contemporary societies and cultures (including their artifacts and practices); from the field of urban studies, energy studies, and research on the environment and climate change from the perspective of human and societal experiences; from the field of changes occurring in media, media messages, and communication under the influence of digitalization and virtualization processes; related to contemporary inequalities in the context of technological functioning, including studies on gender, disability, and old age.
