Aims & Scope
HiSTOReLo is a space for academic dissemination of research carried out by historians and other social science professionals for the generation of historical knowledge. The journal receives and publishes original, unpublished articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese that are the result of research promoting theoretical, historiographical, and methodological debate in local and regional history studies and their relationship with other social sciences, thus fostering interdisciplinary dialogue. HiSTOReLo is a pioneer in Colombia as a digital journal with a local and regional historical focus, with a quarterly periodicity —published in January, May, and September— and open access in digital format (PDF and XML). The content is aimed at professionals, researchers, postgraduate students, and academics interested in the creation of historical knowledge.
