Aims & Scope
Conservatorium-Konservatoryum is an open access, peer-reviewed, scholarly journal published biannually in June and December by Istanbul University, State Conservatory. The manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal must be scientific and original work in Turkish or English. The journal targets national and international audiences, has both national and international members in the editorial board, and aims to enhance international author contributions. Conservatorium-Konservatoryum aims to contribute to the theoretical framework supporting art practice in the fields of music, musicology and performing arts and, to extend our country’s share in international collaborations. Music, musicology and performing arts constitute the main focus area of the journal. Besides, the journal welcomes manuscripts from the fields related to the main focus area, such as aesthetics, psychology, biomechanics, physiology, neuroscience, electroacoustics and organology as well.
