Aims & Scope

As a multidisciplinary journal, the Istanbul Gelişim University Journal of Social Sciences aims to publish high-quality and innovative academic research. The journal focuses on original articles that provide both theoretical and applied contributions across a wide range of disciplines, including administrative sciences, economics, political science, sociology, business administration, logistics, psychology, statistics, communication sciences, philosophy, and public relations. The primary objective of the journal is to publish research that introduces diverse perspectives on social, economic, and administrative issues while developing innovative approaches to address these challenges. Published articles are expected to be grounded in a solid theoretical framework and to provide concrete contributions through the use of original research methodologies. Furthermore, the studies that foster interdisciplinary interaction and aim to build new bridges between different fields receive particular interest. The journal highly values in-depth reviews of contemporary issues, research offering methodological innovations, and articles that discuss specific topics from multiple perspectives. All submitted works must adhere to scientific ethical principles and meet the highest academic writing standards. Istanbul Gelisim University Journal of Social Sciences, scientific articles within the framework of the topics of ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES, BUSINESS, COMMUNICATION, ECONOMICS, LOGISTICS, PHILOSOPHY, POLITICAL SCIENCES, PSYCHOLOGY, PUBLIC RELATIONS, SOCIOLOGY, STATISTICS are published. Important Notice Scientific articles with ARCHEOLOGY, ARCHITECTURE, EDUCATION, FINE ARTS, HISTORY, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, LAW, LINGUISTICS and LITERATURE are not published. IGUJSS publishes theoretical and empirical studies, book reviews and annotated bibliographies. IGUJSS has an international editorial and advisory boards and publishes articles in Turkish and English languages. Effective from January 1, 2026, only English manuscripts will be considered for evaluation.
