Aims & Scope
EMAJ Emerging Markets Journal is a free, online and print, open access, peer-reviewed journal of business management published by the University Library System, University of Pittsburgh-- cosponsored by University of Pittsburgh Press. Contributions are generally published within three month of final acceptance. EMAJ Emerging Markets Journal aims to: Publish empirical research that extends or builds management theory and contributes to management practice with a special focus on emerging markets. All empirical methods -- including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative, field,and combination methods -- are welcome. To be published in EMAJ, a manuscript must make strong empirical and theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the business management field. Preference is given to submissions that test, extend, or build strong theoretical frameworks while empirically examining issues with high importance for business management theory and practice. Management, Management and Organization, Strategic Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Economics, Banking, Marketing, Production Management, Information Technologies (IT), Quantitative Methods, Management Education, Accounting Education, Business Ethics, Accounting Ethics, Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Intellectual Capital, International Business, Business Communication, Tourism Management and Commercial Law are within the scope of EMAJ Emerging Markets Journal. All manuscripts submitted to the journal will be subject to a rigorous peer review by a distinguished review panel, composed of internationallyknowledgeable experts and specialists. A key objective of EMAJ is toensure that the journal is made available to the widest range ofreaders in all nations and international institutions free of charge.
