Revista Atlántida
Universidad de La Laguna · Spain · Est. 2018
Aims & Scope
Atlántida. Revista Canaria de Ciencias Sociales is an initiative of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication of the University of La Laguna (Canary Islands, Spain). Its aim is to constitute an area for interdisciplinary dialogue and debate that allows for a better and deeper understanding of the complex and multidimensional social realities of the current world. Plurality, both disciplinary and in theoretical perspectives and methodological strategies, as well as in the phenomena themselves that are considered worthy and relevant to be studied, is one of its hallmarks. It aspires to publish works from anywhere in the world, regardless of the origin of its authorship and its social object of study, although three spatial and social areas are of special attention: the Spanish and European world (with great emphasis on the Canarian reality), the Latin American space, and West Africa.
