Textpraxis
Graduate School: Practices of Literature · Germany
Aims & Scope
Textpraxis publishes contributions from all philological disciplines on the topics of literature and society, theories of literary studies, and literary studies and practice. All texts are freely and immediately accessible in the sense of Open Access. A new issue of Textpraxis appears up to twice a year, replies to already published articles are expressly welcome and are published continuously. In the sense of a collaborative understanding of science, Textpraxis refrains from an anonymized review process and instead enters into a productive dialogue between reviewers and authors, in which registered readers can participate through comments after the publication of an article. The concept of Textpraxis is oriented thematically towards the profile of the Graduate School Practices of Literature and its three thematic pillars: Literature and Society, Theories of Literary Studies, Literary Studies and Practice. Each issue of Textpraxis is divided into three sections accordingly. For the sections "Literature and Society" and "Theories of Literary Studies", the forms of contribution are academic papers corresponding to literary studies standards. In the section "Literary Studies and Practice", non-academics, i.e. writers and other cultural creators from the publishing or journalism sector, as well as people with a literature-related professional profile, should also have a voice. These contributions can also take the form of essays, interviews, and journalistic texts.
