Forum Supervision
Zentrum für wissenschaftliche Weiterbildung an der Universität Bielefeld e.V. (ZWW) Weiterbildender Masterstudiengang "Supervision und Beratung" · Germany · Est. 1993
Aims & Scope
Forum Supervision offers a platform for scientific and practice-oriented questions on all topics of supervision since 1993. The editors aim to present supervision historically, socially, and from the perspective of individuals and groups. They want to continue to contribute to the professionalization of supervision as an independent, reflective form of counseling. The contributions of the authors initially represent a theoretically guided, reflective collegial exchange. Reference points are a psychoanalysis with an emphasis on recognition theory, social psychology, and social sciences/sociology. Each issue is dedicated to a main topic, which supervisors and scientists deal with in essays, interviews, descriptions of special projects, and book reviews. The Bielefeld Online Journal for Counseling Science and Supervision stands in the tradition of the journal Forum Supervision and sees itself as a forum for "reflective supervision", as it was conceptually developed primarily by Gerhard Leuschner. It has been edited by Katharina Gröning, Angelica Lehmenkühler-Leuschner since 2013 and by Frank Austermann since 2015. For legal reasons, the online journal is a new foundation. It addresses interested practitioners who feel connected to the concept of a reflective form and are looking for inspiration for professional understanding, methodological design, and theoretical discourse of supervision in the journal. In addition, the new online journal addresses counseling scientists, students, and supervisors in further training.
