Aims & Scope

Centro Azúcar is a journal of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. It was created to publish scientific papers on sugar production, but has expanded its profile to other topics related to the sugar cane industry and its derivatives, obtaining biofuels, technical, economic, environmental and social problems of its operation and development, chemical processes in general and derivatives, simulation and optimization of processes, environmental management, chemical engineering in general, and has a miscellaneous section.
