Aims & Scope

The publication direction of the medical scientific-practical journal "Neonatology, Surgery and Perinatal Medicine" is aimed at preserving the health and full development of future generations, which corresponds to the implementation of the "United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for the period up to 2030" – "Good Health and Well-being" (Goal 3) and the "Strategy for Demographic Development of Ukraine for the period up to 2040" in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 922-r. of September 30, 2024. The goal of the journal is to highlight modern aspects of the development and organizational principles of perinatal medicine in Ukraine and abroad, to discuss current problems and advanced technologies in neonatology and neonatal surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, medical genetics and other disciplines; to form the scientific and clinical worldview of doctors and nurses in the mode of interdisciplinary integration; to assist practical healthcare in implementing the principles of evidence-based medicine, actualizing the principles of ethics and deontology to improve the quality of medical care for women of reproductive age, mothers and newborns, children of all age categories.
