Aims & Scope
The aim of the journal "Textus et Studia" is to disseminate historical research, with a particular emphasis on the history of the Catholic Church and the history of Christianity in Central and Eastern European countries. The journal serves as a forum for systematic scientific discussion and presentation of research results concerning the specified region. An important point of reference for the journal's mission remains the vision of St. John Paul II – the creator of the university that publishes the journal – expressed in the act of establishing its Faculty of History, which indicated the need to conduct research on the history of the Church "with particular emphasis on the history of Christianity in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe."
