Aims & Scope
The yearbook Identities – Cultures – Languages publishes papers from the regular annual scientific conference of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Mostar, in collaboration with other scientific and cultural institutions from the country and the region. In the context of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian academic sphere, finding new, untested models of communication, socio-political critique, historical interpretations, and even philosophical reflections on reality in a deeply divided society, is not only a scientific challenge but also an urgent social need. Due to these objectives, we consider the yearbook to be a truly important "refreshment" in the context of the academic sphere and culture in which we live, and we believe it has a very promising future in which it will, hopefully, achieve the status of an indispensable scientific-professional publication. All submitted papers are undergo two double-blind peer-reviews by prominent experts in the respective field, which is another guarantee of the yearbook’s quality. It is important to emphasize that during its publication, careful consideration is given to the relevance of the submitted topics and their scientific contribution; therefore, papers are carefully selected to achieve the recognized quality of the yearbook.
