Aims & Scope

The purpose of the journal “Philosophy of Education” is the publication of peer-reviewed research articles that contain original scientific results from the specialty 033 “Philosophy”, as well as reviews, analytical or scientific and methodological materials (reviews of book publications or articles; reviews-presentations of new publications, scientific conferences and other academic events; interviews with prominent thinkers in the field of philosophy of education, etc.). Types of publications: editor’s notes, original research articles, review and analytical articles, documents and materials, reviews and surveys, interviews, translations. Tasks of the journal: development of Ukrainian philosophy of education and its integration into the global scientific space; promotion of effective public communication of scientists, high-quality reporting, official recognition and popularization of the results of scientific research in the field of philosophy, theory and methodology of education and philosophy of education in the domestic and international scientific communities; formation of a new philosophical and educational paradigm of modernity. Scope of publications: Philosophy of Education, History of Philosophy of Education, Western and Non-Western Traditions in Philosophy of Education, Educational Strategies and Practices, University Studies, Philosophy of Sex and Gender and its Educational Implications, Methodological Principles of Modern Education, Transdisciplinary Discourse in Science and Education, Philosophy of Mind and Educational Perspectives, Bioethics and Ecological Issues in Education, Artificial Intelligence in Education and Science, Multicultural Education, Philosophy of Lifelong Education, Philosophy of Education for Adults, Philosophy for Children, Global Challenges to Education, Ukrainian Philosophy of Education, Education and Religion, Education and Art.
