Aims & Scope

Studies about Modern and Classical German Philosophy. The Characteristica Universalis Journal (CUJ) emerges from the idea that the sense of present philosophy finds its source in the central problems of Modernity. Going from this theoretical premise, the journal's series will promote interdisciplinary research about philosophies developed between the 17th and 19th centuries, emphasising classical German philosophy (from Kant to Hegel). We will also collaborate to enhance university networking and keep our academic research up-to-date.
