Aims & Scope
The journal aims to bring together institutional positions, theoretical essays, review studies, and original research with critical reflections and scientific evidence focused on the integration of Body Literacy in research and professional practice on physical activity and health in Brazil and Latin America. The thematic supplement dialogues with the launch of the Global Physical Literacy Action Framework (GloPL), an international document built from a Delphi process with experts from different countries and areas of knowledge, establishing principles, priorities, and recommendations for the development of body literacy in research, education, professional practice, and public policies. Original articles with a quantitative, qualitative, or mixed approach will be prioritized. Narrative review articles, institutional positions, and theoretical essays may also be analyzed upon consultation with the journal editors.
