A RAGROS prioriza publicar trabalhos que tenham como lócus a sustentabilidade de agroecossistemas. A partir de pesquisas que explorem aspectos biológicos, químicos, ecológicos, econômicos e sociológicos do meio rural em suas diferentes dimensões e espaços. Neste contexto são incentivadas discussões embasadas na abordagem sistêmica e interdisciplinaridade; não excluindo trabalhos que mobilizem conhecimentos científicos tecnológicos, relevantes para o meio ambiente, ciências agrárias e afins na promoção do desenvolvimento rural sustentável.
