Aims & Scope
The scholarly diamond open access journal Knygotyra (Eng. Book Science) seeks to promote interdisciplinary research on the book and digital media culture, including all the varied possibilities of textual communication and related issues. Topics the journal covers include the theory and methodology of book science, book history and historiography, traditional and digital publishing, research on media literacy and reading, book art, bibliophily, studies in printed and digital heritage, book sociology, and closely related topics from the humanities and social sciences: epigraphy, codicology, the history of the library and librarianship, bibliography, archival studies and records management, etc. Knygotyra publishes original scientific articles, scientific publications of historical sources, reviews of books, and a chronicle of events that are important for book science.
