Aims & Scope
The journal Vestnik za tuje jezike ( Journal for Foreign Languages ) is published once a year in a double volume. It is aimed at scholars and professionals working in the field of linguistics, literature and foreign language teaching. It is one of the few Slovene journals that publishes articles in the fields of linguistics and literature in foreign languages, and the only journal that publishes papers in the field of language teaching methodology with reference both to the foreign languages taught in Slovenia and Slovene as a foreign language. The journal accepts scientific contributions in the areas mentioned above. By publishing articles in the Slovene language it contributes to the development of Slovene scientific and technical terminology. In addition to scientific papers, the journal accepts expert contributions from teachers, thus contributing to the improvement of language teaching, dissemination of information and direct exchange of views. Also, the Journal for Foreign Languages welcomes reviews of current work in the areas covered and reports on current events.
