The editorial policy of the Revista Acta Biológica Catarinense, in electronic format, comprises the thematic axes of Biodiversity, Conservation and Wildlife Management and is linked to the Department of Biological Sciences of Univille. Articles to be published should deal with the management and preservation of biological heritage, educational practices in Biology, ontogenetic and phylogenetic studies of the most diverse biological groups, ecosystem processes and dynamics and their influence on the development of populations and biotic communities, involving themes of Aquaculture, Bioarchaeology, Biogeography, Conservation Biology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Ecology, Ecotoxicology, Environmental Education, Ethology, Evolution, Phycology, Conservation Genetics, Lichenology, Mycology, Environmental Microbiology, Paleontology and Zoology. The journal is aimed at Brazilian and foreign authors.
