Aims & Scope
o-bib is open to a wide range of library science topics. Contributions can be submitted by all interested authors (in German or English). o-bib is professionally independent. Compliance with the standards of good scientific practice is expected for all submitted contributions. Scientific integrity and professional quality are guaranteed through careful reviews and a multi-eye principle. The editorial process involves close collaboration with the authors. o-bib contributions are published promptly after the completion of the editorial process. The submitted contributions are compiled quarterly into an issue. Scientific articles are subject to a peer review by two reviewers. In addition, o-bib publishes reports on conferences and events, smaller contributions on projects, innovations, etc. (practice reports), discussion papers, and reviews. These are reviewed by the managing editors. The association section also provides news from the VDB – Association of German Librarians and Library Professionals.
