Aims & Scope
Circula : revue d’idéologies linguistiques publishes works devoted to the conceptualization, construction, and circulation of ideologies about language, particularly in Romance-speaking communities. Its objective is to disseminate work that explores the theme of linguistic ideologies on theoretical, methodological, and empirical levels, using both contemporary and historical corpora. The journal adopts an interdisciplinary character and welcomes contributions from various research traditions (sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, discourse analysis, pragmatics, social sciences, etc.). It particularly encourages work with a comparative perspective. Through its interdisciplinary nature and openness to different analytical frameworks, the journal aims to create a space for exchange that can advance reflection on linguistic ideologies in general and on their articulation with social representations, linguistic practices, and broader social dynamics in particular.
