Aims & Scope
The Journal of Contemporary Medical Sciences (JCMS) is a bi-monthly peer-reviewed open access publication of Nab'a Al-Hayat Foundation for Medical Sciences and Health Care, Iraq. JCMS launched in January 2015 with quarterly frequency and since 2019 it has been published bi-monthly. The Journal of Contemporary Medical Sciences provides a wide range of articles discussing current advancements in the field of clinical medicine, dentistry, and basic biomedical sciences, including but not limited to internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, dermatology, hematology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, parasitology, entomology, infectious diseases, microbiology, virology, immunology, epidemiology, chemotherapy, community medicine, public health, and more. The journal aims to publish original research, review articles and short communications about molecular and cellular processes in disease, in order to increase understanding of the fundamental principles and biological questions of medicine. Researchers in academic and clinical settings as well as health professionals are encouraged to publish their theoretical and experimental results in this journal, which aims to integrate expertise from the molecular and translational sciences, therapeutics, and diagnostics in different medical specialties.
