Aims & Scope

The journal “Scientific notes of Sumy State Pedagogical University” (SNSSPU) was founded in 1948 and was called “Scientists notes of Sumy Pedagogical Institute”. The series of "Geographical sciences" is published since 2005 as an yearbook (in 2005-2009 the series was published under called “Ecology and rational use of natural resources”). During 2005-2019 have been published 15 issues, included 5 issues the series of “Ecology and rational use of natural resources” and 10 – the series of “Geographical sciences”. SNSSPU publishes peer-reviewed articles on the topics of basic and applied research in geography and related subjects. The journal is published scientific articles in accordance with the such chapters, as “Physical Geography and Landscape Science”, “Cartography and Geoinformatics”, “Socio-Economic Geography and Geopolitics”, “Evolutionary Geography and Geomorphology”, “Geoecology and Environmental Management”, “Recreation Geography and Tourism”, “Methods of Geographical Subjects Teaching” etc. We invite lecturers, researchers, doctoral students, postgraduate students, master students, teachers of schools and other educational institutions for cooperation. SNSSPU is open to independent views; it discusses different issues in geography with scientists from different countries. Original research studies, reviews, hypotheses, editorial commentary, and special reports spanning the spectrum of geography and experimental research in fields of Earth sciences will be considered. The Editorial Board welcomes scientifical articles from both Ukraine and foreign researchers. This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking for prior permission from the publisher or the author, but with the obligatory reference to the authors of the original work and
