Aims & Scope

The Journal scope is concerned with original unpublished scientific papers covering all branches of geology and related topics. Although the Journal has a particular interest in publishing local studies which have conclusions of interest, this publication is expanding its breadth of coverage to an international scope. Coverage includes such topics as water resources (hydrology and hydrogeology), petrology, mineralogy, geochemistry, ore deposits, petroleum geology, tectonics, paleontology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, geophysics, and environmental sciences.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
