Aims & Scope

The International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences publishes original and innovative research relevant to any field of the humanities, including theoretical and applied linguistics, literature and comparative literature, philosophical studies, historical studies, media, archaeological studies, and interventions that critically examine issues related to the humanities and their central questions, as well as those that reflect debate and discussion on various contributions published in the journal. The journal publishes original scientific research that meets the criteria of definition, scope, investigation, and documentation in the humanities and social sciences for Arab researchers inside and outside the Arab world or expatriates, provided that this research is written exclusively in Arabic or English. It is required that the research has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The journal includes various fixed sections such as: Discussions, Book Reviews, Scientific Reports on Conferences and Seminars, as well as a section for seminars where the journal holds closed seminars covering the most important topics on the regional and Arab scene.
