Aims & Scope

RIDPHE_R Revista Iberoamericana do Patrimônio Histórico-Educativo publishes articles on the theme of Historical-Educational Heritage, emphasizing the originality of the theme or the treatment given to it, as well as the consistency of the theoretical-methodological approach. The journal accepts articles in Portuguese, Spanish, English, or French. It also publishes dossiers on innovative themes relevant to Historical-Educational and Cultural Heritage, involving educational actions. The journal's scope includes formal, non-formal, and informal learning contexts, such as schools, museums, heritage sites, territories, communities, and tourist destinations. It aims to foster critical thinking, empathy, dialogue, and conscious action, reinforcing the interrelationships between individuals, heritage, and society.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
