Aims & Scope
The Journal of Lean Systems is an electronic scientific journal, directed to the scientific community (teachers, researchers, students and professionals) working in Lean Systems and related areas. The Journal of Lean Systems aims at disseminating knowledge, expanding and promoting the debate about the interest of the academic community and institutions. It is a quarterly publication of papers that present relevant contributions with regards to the Lean principles in the following areas: - Lean Health Care; - Lean Product Development; - Implementation of lean practices and principles; - Lean Ergonomics; - Strategic Planning and Hoshin Kanri; - Operations Management and Improvement Kata; - Lean and Green; - Lean Accounting; - Lean Supply Logistics; - Extended Value Stream and Lean Supply Chain; - Jidoka; - IT systems in an environment of continuous improvement; - Lean Six Sigma;
