Aims & Scope
Pasado Abierto is a biannual journal (June-December) published by the Center for Historical Studies at the Faculty of Humanities of the National University of Mar del Plata (Argentina). Its main purpose is the publication of original, unpublished scholarly articles, historiographical reviews, and theoretical reflections on History and related disciplines. Pasado Abierto ensures quality and rigor through internal and external peer review. The first evaluation is conducted by the Editorial Committee, which determines its relevance based on the journal's guidelines and editorial policy. If accepted, the second evaluation is carried out anonymously through a double-blind peer review process by prestigious academics (according to the specific format of each section). Peer review and publication are free of charge.
