Aims & Scope

Acta Tecnologia is an international, peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal devoted to applied technologies, engineering processes, technological design, and complex technological systems across industrial, manufacturing, transport, logistics, environmental, medical, digital, and interdisciplinary domains. The journal provides a platform for the publication of original research articles, review papers, methodological studies, case studies, and application-oriented research that contribute to the development, design, implementation, management, optimization, evaluation, and innovation of technological systems in both theory and practice. Its mission is to disseminate scientifically sound, practically relevant, and internationally valuable knowledge in technology and related engineering fields. Acta Tecnologia welcomes contributions focused on, but not limited to, the following areas: Alternative, industrial, and emerging technologies Application-oriented research, practical studies, and case studies Artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, robotics and intelligent technologies Automotive, aviation, space, and transportation technologies Biotechnology, medical technologies, and bioengineering applications CAD/CAM systems and computer systems technologies Design, development, and innovation of technological systems Complex, interactive, and human-centered technological systems Industrial engineering, management of technologies, and innovation processes Technologies in logistics, services, and transportation Measurement, evaluation, optimization, and streamlining of technologies Simulation, modelling, and methodology in technological research Environmental technologies, ergonomics, and workplace design The journal particularly encourages papers that combine scientific rigor, methodological soundness, practical applicability, and technological relevance, and that address current challenges, innovations, and development trends in contemporary technological and engineering practice. Interdisciplinary contributions are welcome, provided that technology, engineering, or technological systems remain the principal framework of the study.
