Aims & Scope

Education At JETem, we believe that all learners should benefit from active learning. We are an online, open access, peer-reviewed journal-repository for EM educators in all major topic areas. JETem is published quarterly. We accept submissions of team-based learning, small group learning, simulation, podcasts, lectures, innovations, curricula and image-based case reports. Scholarship We believe educators should advance through the scholarship of their educational work. Glassick outlines six principles of scholarship: clear goals, adequate preparation, appropriate methods, significant results, effective presentation, and reflective critique. As such, much of the existing educational work is scholarship. JETem gives educators the opportunity to publish and distribute outstanding, scholarly academic work so that it may be widely distributed, thereby increasing the significance of their results.
