Aims & Scope

Publicaciones en Ciencias y Tecnología is a scientific journal of open and free access, peer-reviewed and indexed, published semi-annually. Created in 2007, it is edited at the Deanery of Science and Technology of the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA), Barquisimeto, Venezuela. It publishes original and unpublished works written in Spanish or English in the areas of exact sciences, earth sciences, and Engineering. It is committed to open access to scientific knowledge, conceived as a space for dissemination with relevant contributions in the areas of exact sciences, earth sciences, and Engineering, as a result of research and presented as original articles, reviews, technical notes, essays or reviews, contributing to the updating and academic consultations of students, teachers, researchers, professionals, as well as individuals or organizations interested in these topics; preserving and disseminating the published content, as well as contributing to national and international scientific and academic discussion.
