K@iros
Université Clermont Auvergne · France
Aims & Scope
K@iros symbolises the time of the opportune occasion. The time for the founders of the interdisciplinary journal K@iros to take advantage of the synergies of a multidisciplinary scientific environment, the Communication and Societies laboratory. It is indeed a journal that aims to foster - and make them fruitful - synergies between disciplines. Each issue is thus built around a thematic dossier which systematically combines the approaches of the two disciplines. One of these two disciplines will fall under either Information and Communication Sciences (CNU section 71) or Foreign Civilizations (English - 11, German - 12, Spanish - 14). The second discipline may fall under another disciplinary field (history, management sciences, geography, social psychology, sociology, linguistics, etc.), an invited discipline that will vary from issue to issue. All issues of K@iros thus submit contemporary societal issues, traditionally treated in a compartmentalized manner, to cross-analysis. Then, an interdisciplinary conclusive synthesis concludes each dossier. So that each issue aims both to develop a problematic favouring discussion between disciplines and the emergence of innovative scientific results.
