Aims & Scope
The Iraq Medical Journal (IMJ) publishes a diverse range of articles covering recent advancements in clinical medicine, dentistry, and basic biomedical sciences such as internal medicine, paediatrics, general surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology, urology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, dermatology, haematology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, parasitology and entomology, infectious diseases, microbiology and virology, immunology, epidemiology, chemotherapy and community medicine, public health, and more. The journal includes review articles, original research, case reports, Short Communications, Editorials, and letters to the editor. It is widely read and has a broad readership among clinicians and biomedical scientists in Iraq and neighbouring countries. The goal of Iraq Medical Journal (IMJ) is to foster scientific knowledge and collaboration among clinicians, scientists, and other professionals in the biomedical sciences. It promotes scientific research in various fields of biomedicine and upholds the highest ethical standards in biomedical research. The journal also aims to disseminate information and knowledge to the public about clinical and basic medical sciences.
