Aims & Scope
The Brazilian Journal of Oncology publishes peer-reviewed clinical and translational studies across all areas of oncology, including clinical oncology, pediatrics, surgery, and radiation therapy. The journal's mission is to provide free, open-access to original research and reviews of innovative advances in oncology to improve clinical care for cancer patients. The journal considers original papers, case reports, reviews (invited and submitted), editorial comments (invited), and letters to the editor. The journal may occasionally publish Special Articles, such as guidelines or other relevant documents. The audience comprises medical professionals from diverse oncology disciplines, including medical, pediatric, surgical, radiation, hematologic, gynecologic, and urologic oncology. Readers include physicians, researchers, pharmacists, oncology nurses, and other healthcare practitioners with a predominant interest in oncology.
