piano b is an online journal that aims to give greater visibility to critical reflections on the languages of contemporary art and the system that characterizes its dynamics, which are increasingly complex and global. piano b was born from the meeting of professors from various Italian universities involved, from different perspectives, in the study and research on contemporary art, with an openness to transdisciplinary contributions in image criticism and theory, aesthetics, gender studies, exhibition practices and museography, cinema, design, architecture. piano b intends to create spaces for dialogue and writing for studies on contemporary art around the most debated themes at scientific and academic level, with a broad scope and a long-term perspective.
