Frontière·s
Université Lumière Lyon 2 · France · Est. 2019
Aims & Scope
Since 2019, Frontière·s, a journal of archaeology, history & art history, focuses on ancient societies, from Prehistory to the Middle Ages. The journal invites researchers to address different themes at an annual pace with a call for contributions in September for publication in December of the following year. The journal also offers a permanent call for all contributions that do not fall within the scope of the annual calls. Supplementary issues dealing with more specific subjects are also published during the first half of each year. For the most part, these are conference proceedings that can be enriched by a call for contributions. Finally, Frontière·s aims to contribute to the animation of scientific exchanges by regularly publishing in its Research News section reviews of scientific works related to Antiquity, the Middle Ages and their reception, as well as chronicles dealing with scientific events or presenting research projects. Twice a year, a list of new books available for review is distributed in the Frontière·s newsletter.
