Aims & Scope

The journal proposes a profile that reflects the previous themes of conferences and publications of Tertium. The statutory aim of Tertium has always been openness to various theoretical approaches and to perspectives typical of individual neophilologies. We are interested in research on language in communication, primarily from a synchronic perspective, and a broadly understood socio-cognitive approach, including cognitive linguistics, pragmalinguistic research, and anthropological linguistics. Articles are grouped into six thematic sections: theoretical linguistics, varieties and registers of Polish, translation studies, intercultural communication/anthropological linguistics, semiotics, and applied linguistics.
