Aims & Scope
The aim of the Journal of Sirah Studies is to publish scientific studies on the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). In this context, the journal includes research, case presentations, and translation articles in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities. JSS endeavors to be the primary publication for all studies on the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It aims to encourage articles that respect the originality and universality of science, contribute to the world of academia, and digitally disseminate information to readers. JSS covers original studies in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities that center on the Prophet Muhammad. This framework includes all studies related to the Prophet Muhammad prepared in Islamic History and Arts, Basic Islamic Sciences, Philosophy and Religious Sciences, and their sub-branches. Therefore, the journal gladly accepts articles in the fields of "Sirah, Islamic History, Islamic Civilization, History of Islamic Arts, Turkish-Islamic Literature, Religious Music, Tafsir, Hadith, Kalam, Islamic Law, History of Islamic Sects, Sufism, Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Psychology of Religion, Sociology of Religion, Religious Education, History of Religions. JSR is an independent, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access online journal that aims to publish articles in all relevant fields mentioned here. Articles should describe original data that has not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts that are deemed suitable for the submission rules of the JSS and the scope of the journal are sent to at least two referees who are experts in their fields for scientific evaluation. The members of the Editorial Board of the JSS evaluate the suitability of the manuscript and then take into account the comments of the referees on each submission. The final decision for all submitted manuscripts belongs to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editorial Board of JSR is committed to complying with the criteria of the Committee on Publication Ethics ( COPE ).
