Aims & Scope
The Dubai Medical Journal seeks to encourage innovative approaches to medical and healthcare issues and challenges by promoting original scientific research in the fields of medicine, health sciences, nursing, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory work in addition to women’s and children’s health. As international as Dubai itself, the journal offers a global perspective, but also focuses on the particular needs and challenges faced by researchers and medical practitioners in the United Arab Emirates. The journal welcomes research on the aforementioned clinical fields, in addition to non-clinical subjects related to medicine, especially ethics and complementary medicine, together with social and cultural observations. In addition to research articles, this open access journal also publishes review articles, case reports, reviews, meta-analyses, letters, editorials, and commentaries. An educational corner will help to ensure continuous professional development and education, and the journal also offers a platform to discuss and debunk prevalent myths and controversies plaguing the region’s medical and healthcare sectors.
