Aims & Scope

MycoAsia is an international, online, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing modern mycology. With special emphasis on Asia’s extraordinary fungal biodiversity, we provide a trusted platform for research that reaches across continents. Our scope includes fungal diversity, taxonomy, phylogeny, ecology, and metabolites. We publish original research articles, brief communications, and letters. Review articles appear by invitation only. Key areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Fungal diversity, taxonomy, and phylogeny; Discovery, cultivation, characterization, and classification of fungi; Fungal ecology, metabolites, and nomenclature; Research on lichens. Preference is given to studies conducted in the under-explored terrestrial, aquatic, and atmospheric habitats of Asia.
