Aims & Scope

Journal of Water and Wastewater Science and Technology (JWWSE) publishes articles after completion of the peer-review process. This journal aims to provide a network for academic researchers and industry experts to exchange findings and creative ideas on topics related to water and wastewater science and engineering to find answers to the existing problems in this industry. Accordingly, JWWSE publishes research articles, review papers, case reports, editorial letters, technical notes, discussions, closure, and errata that covers issue listed as follows: - Issues related to supply, transfer, treatment, and distribution of urban water - Issues related to collection, transfer, treatment, recycle, and reuse of wastewater - Issues related to collection, transfer, treatment, and recycling of surface water - Unconventional water, sewage, and brackish water: planning, management, and utilization - Recent technologies and materials for the water and wastewater industry and approaches for their localization - Upgrading optimization and development of strategies related to the water and wastewater industry regarding the upcoming demands of the field - Planning and management of financial and human resources in the field of water and wastewater treatment - Lessons learned in projects in the field of water and wastewater industry - Vulnerability of designs, executions, management, and adopted strategies for systems and facilities in the water and wastewater industry - Role of social, economic, and technical approaches in water consumption management and reduction of wastewater - Energy management in the water and wastewater industry - Data management in urban wastewater (collection, filtration, analysis, and publication) - Standards, regulations, strategies, and policies related to water and wastewater management - Sanitation Problems - Water governance (legislation, organizational chart, and responsibilities, public participation, financing, public-private partnership, water pricing, social justice, resolving conflict and other social, economic, and political issues related to water and wastewater management)
