Aims & Scope

Lire Journal (Journal of Linguistics and Literature) is a refereed journal dedicated to the publication of research in the areas of Language, Literature, and Culture. The journal aims to provide a platform for scholars and practitioners to discuss and disseminate their work widely, fostering a global dialogue on relevant issues. The journal focuses on the following areas: Language: This includes Micro Linguistics (Morphology, Phonology, Syntax, Semantics) and Macro Linguistics (Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Discourse Analysis, Critical Discourse Analysis, Pragmatics, Stylistics, Corpus Linguistics, etc.). We welcome research that explores both theoretical and practical applications of language studies. Literature: Covers various forms of literature, including Old, Modern, and Contemporary Literature, as well as Comparative Literature. We encourage contributions that analyze literary works through diverse critical lenses, including cultural, historical, and socio-political perspectives. Study of Culture: Explores Cultural Texts and Practices, such as Popular Culture (including Movie Analysis, Music Analysis, Media Studies), Cultural Translations, and the impact of globalization on cultural expressions. We seek studies that examine the interplay between culture and society. We invite submissions that contribute to the understanding of these fields and foster academic dialogue. Our aim is to publish well-researched articles that not only advance scholarly knowledge but also engage with contemporary issues relevant to a broader audience. By providing a public platform for publication, Lire Journal hopes to inspire scholars to engage with pressing issues in language, literature, and culture, enriching the academic community. We encourage innovative methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches that broaden the scope of research in these areas. In addition, we welcome articles that address the following topics: Emerging trends in linguistics and their applications in real-world contexts. Comparative studies of literary genres across cultures. The role of technology in the dissemination of literature and cultural practices. Critical analyses of contemporary cultural phenomena and their societal implications.
